The Driving System developed by BorgWarner uses technologically advanced controls to detect slip on the car’s wheels and effortlessly transfer power from the engine to the said wheel. The technology only needs a couple of milliseconds to convert both the Sebring and the Avenger from a front-wheel drive car to an all-wheel drive vehicle. The Chrysler Group recently announced that their 2007 Chrysler Sebring and the 2008 Dodge Avenger will be equipped with a technologically advanced drive system. The said cars will be outfitted with BorgWarner’s Interactive Torque Converter (ITM 3e) system. The technology will enhance the Sebring’s and the Avenger’s stability, performance and fuel efficiency as well. BorgWarner’s ITM 3e system is already being used by the 2007 Chrysler Pacifica and has already made a lot of good impression on the motoring public. The technology that the Sebring and the avenger will employ is only one of the torque management system products of BorgWarner and it is the latest technology developed by the said company.
Cindy Niekamp, the President and General Manager of BorgWarner TorqTransfer Systems, is pleased to provide another Driving System for the Chrysler Group. “We are proud to launch another front-wheel, all-wheel drive application with DaimlerChrysler, using BorgWarner’s new ITM 3e system. Niekamp also stated that with the successful integration of the system to the 2007 Chrysler Pacifica, it is logical for other DaimlerChrysler cars to use the same Wiring Harness . The use of the system on cars enhances their traction, stability, and handling. BorgWarner will supply the necessary hardware to the Chrysler Group to integrate the said system to their mass produced cars. Aside from the hardware components the company will also provide the needed electronic systems and software controls. The company will also provide DaimlerChrysler with the required vehicle integration support. These wares are part of BorgWarner’s commitment to provide the car manufacturer competent service. The integration of the said system to DaimlerChrysler cars will be a joint effort on the car manufacturer and the vehicle powertrain applications provider. With the necessary tools provided by BorgWarner and the competency of the Chrysler Group, it will not come as a surprise if the Chrysler Sebring and the Dodge Avenger come out of their assembly plants as finely tuned cars.

The first sign you will usually get of an electrical failure happening is a warning light coming on in your car’s Instrument Panel. This can be a simple alternator light, as in older cars, or an LCD panel giving off a fault code. If the fault is bad enough, you will also notice dimming headlights or the instrument panel lights flickering.
If your car is in decent shape in the fist place and is being properly maintained, your battery’s reserve capacity should give you enough power to at least bring the vehicle to the side of the road safely, or even take you to the nearest gas or service station. When this happens, and you can tell that only the charging systems has failed, shut off all unnecessary electrical loads, such as the aircon, radio, chargers, etc. If there is a noise coming from your engine compartment, you will have to stop the car to check if a loose belt or component is rubbing or hitting another Car Perfume . Coinciding with the warning lights on the dash will be a dimming of your headlights, in case you are driving at night.
In case you notice that only the headlights are dimming and there are no warning lights or indicator codes turning on in the instrument panel, this means that the charging system is the likely culprit. The alternator which keeps the battery charged during driving has a set of carbon brushes in it that wear out over time. When your car’s headlights dim, it has come to the point where the carbon brushes are worn and need to be replaced. It can also be the alternator’s regulator that has gone on the blink that is causing a charging system failure. Again, reduce the electrical load and take your car in for service as soon as possible.
Sometimes, corrosion builds up in the electrical contacts, not just in the batteries, but where the negative cable connects to the car body, or the positive cable connecting to the car’s starter. These little things can actually cause intermittent failures that are random and very difficult to trace, especially with newer cars whose electronic components rely on small changes in voltage Spark Plug to work.
With today’s cars employing more sophisticated electronics, a lot of things can go wrong when individual control modules fail. Since modern cars run off a common data bus, errant voltages can feed wrong signals to the wrong modules, resulting in failure that can be difficult to trace without the aid of a diagnostic module. Fortunately, intermittent faults like these rarely produce sudden failures that leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere. A side view mirror is an essential part of a car or a motorcycle, which helps the driver to look at the vehicles approaching him from his behind. This helps the driver to know when to slow down or be extra careful while taking some sharp turns. All the cars are provided with a pair of side view mirrors, one at either side. Now, if this essential tool is broken, it should be immediately replaced by a new one. This article only deals with the replacement procedure of manual type side view mirror and not the Filter Paper .
Firstly, the door of the car, the side on which the damage occurred, is to be opened and the inner side is to be examined, to see whether the entire door or only the triangular shaped molded panel is to be removed. Now, find the screws holding up the panel of the door and remove them. If some plugs are masking them, you will have to remove them first. Sometimes, the handle of the window roll is also to be removed before that. The casing or molding of the panel of the door should not be damaged in any way during this course.
Now the nuts holding the Rearview Mirror up should be taken out carefully. Some additional nuts may have to be taken out prior to that if they are in anyway hiding the mirror nuts. Also, the lever of the mirror adjuster may have to be removed. Now, using a socket, extension and a rocket, the side view mirror nuts are to be removed. A telescopic magnet at this point will ensure that the nuts do not fall off after removal. In addition, at this time, somebody else can hold up the side view mirror from the outside to keep that from falling too. Now, the ratchet is used to fix up the nuts from the inner side. The mirror alignment lever then, is to be aligned and fixed and the Door Panel is to be assembled back, along with the window roll lever.

The Problems
Under normal road conditions the time that elapses between braking is sufficient for the Brake Disc and pad cool down, however on a track with a lot of repeated hard braking the heat builds up. Two things that are undesirable can then happen, both are known as brake fade.
Pad Fade
Is where the heat pushes the pad beyond its working temperature that will cause it to start to disintegrate. The brake pedal remains firm but the vehicle does not slow effectively and speeds must be reduced.
Pedal Fade
Is where the heat transfers from the pads into the pistons in the calipers. The pistons (normally produced from aluminum) in turn transfer the heat to the brake fluid, when the brake fluid overheats it loses effectiveness and can even boil. When the fluid boils the gas created is compressible, so when the pedal is applied it softens and in extreme situations can “go to the floor” – when this starts to happen it is best to back off and let your brakes cool or they might be lost completely.
The Solutions
There are a number of solutions to avoid Brake Pad and Gasket fade; some are more expensive than others.
· Upgraded pads (will not reduce Pedal Fade)
· Upgraded Brake fluid (will not reduce pad Fade)
· Vented discs – upgraded calipers and Pads (Expensive)
· Ducting air towards the disc and Cylinder Gasket (can be tricky to get right)
· Installing Titanium Brake Shims – TiBrake – between brake pad and caliper
